name to be activated, it takes this long as all the other internet
servers in the world have to recognise your domain name.

Your new hosting account for www.hp.seveninternet.co.uk has now been setup
and is immediately ready for upload and configuration.
The site URL http://www.hp.seveninternet.co.uk will become active once either
the domain name has been registered or DNS updates have resolved.
This normally takes around 24 hours, but depending on your Internet
Service Provider (ISP) may take up to 72 hours. In the meantime,
you can preview your site (once you have uploaded it) via login
to your control panel and clicking site preview.

Your online Control Panel panel is a powerful tool that allows you
to quickly access a wide range of Technical Support options, and
manage and
modify all information relating to your account and services. From
your Control Panel you can:
- Add, modify and remove email accounts and settings
- View graphical visitor statistics for your site
- Configure additional services such as FrontPage Extensions and
MySQL databases
- Renew or upgrade your products and services
- Access billing information and invoices from previous purchases
- Modify your contact details
- Manage your address book
- Monitor your earnings from our affiliate scheme
- Access a wide range of support tutorials, FAQs and other resources
- Submit and track support requests
You can login to your Control Panel in 2 ways:
- To administer services relating only to www.hp.seveninternet.co.uk, simply
visit https://www.hp.seveninternet.co.uk:8443 (once your domain name has
resolved) and https://www.seveninternet.co.uk:8443
Connecting to Us
Connecting to your new shared hosting account is easy. To upload
files to your shared hosting account you would usually use an FTP
programme, FTP stands for File Transfer Protocol. It is a way of
uploading your web site to your shared hosting account.
If you don't already have an FTP client then you may download a

Once installed select the option to create a new FTP account. You
should then enter the details outlined below:-
Create a FTP Site With Name: hp.seveninternet.co.uk
Host Name or IP Address: 62.249.245.64
User ID: Enter the username that you received in your welcome e-mail
Password: Enter the password that you received in your welcome
e-mail
Click "Save Password" and then "Finish"
If you now click "OK" you will be connected to your Virtual
Web Server.
You will now be able to see a number of files and directories,
you will only be interested in the "httpdocs" directory.
This is the directory where you will store all your html, shtml
& PHP files and images.
The main page of your web site should be called index.html or index.htm
(all lower case). Your index file is the first page people will
see when they go to www.hp.seveninternet.co.uk.
Collecting & sending your email
To collect & sending email directly from your mail server, please
log in to your account and setup the email accounts and then enter
the following account details into an email application such as
Microsoft Outlook:
Incoming Mail Server: mail.hp.seveninternet.co.uk
Outgoing Mail Server: mail.hp.seveninternet.co.uk
Account Name: yourname@hp.seveninternet.co.uk
Password: (your password)
To access your email using Seven Internet webmail interface, please
visit http://webmail.hp.seveninternet.co.uk
Additional mail accounts and mail forwarding rules may be configured
via your online Control Panel.
Please note: Your outgoing mail is handled by our SMTP server, please
ensure that you have MY SERVER REQUIRES AUTHORATION ticked. You
will not be able to send email until you do so.
You are now ready to receive e-mails on your shared hosting account!

Please remember that your domain name will take a few days to come
on-line.
General Information
Our system is SeNsItIvE to upper and lower case.
When you upload any perl, html, CGI or txt files then you should
do so in ASCII Mode, zip files and images files should be uploaded
in binary mode.
Files that include Server Side Includes (SSI) must end in the .shtml
extension.
Please keep your password safe so that other people may not access
your files.
